1st quarter 2008 here at Kel Tec
Kel-Tec attended the Annual Shot Show in early February as an exhibitor. We introduced two new products at the show. Those are a PLR-22, a .22LR pistol and the SU-22 rifle in .22LR. The firearms are based on our PLR-16 and SU-16 rifle and will share many parts including the grip and front and rear sights.

The PLR-22 and SU-22 will accept many of the same accessories as the PLR-16 and SU-16 including the slings, stocks, and compact for end. The rear sight is adjustable for wind age and the front sight is adjustable for elevation. An integrated pica tinny rail on top will accept a multitude of sighting options. The muzzle end of the barrel is threaded ½ inch-28 to accept standard attachments such as a muzzle brake. A 27 round semi-transparent magazine is included ad it will accept magazines designed for the Atchison M-16 conversion.

The PLR-22 should begin shipping sometime in the second quarter of 2008.
The RFB had been delayed in production and should ship sometime in forth quarter 2008.

According to the latest ATF statistics from 2006, KEL-TEC is the 3rd largest manufacturer of pistols in the United States. Read More
